Hard surface practice

Mudsketch 2

Alright. Decided to do a full body sketch in mudbox, to further get used to it's sculpting. I still only know the one sculpting brush, and that's it. I don't know how to change proportions, isolate certain parts, etc. (Which is why the hands look awful).

First try in mudbox, to get the feel of it. I kind of like it, going to take a lot more getting used to, all I know is the one sculpt brush, and rendering seems to be pretty weak (or just my knowledge of it)

Demo Reel 2011

This is my 3D demo reel that I have compiled from some of the work that I had completed in the 8 month Digital Animation course at Capilano University in North Vancouver.
I am a character and environment modeler and texturer, with most of my experience in Softimage, Maya, Zbrush, Photoshop.
I am available for free-lance and full-time work.

What is that thing?

So I made the mutant and Base today. My original idea was a zombie, but then I felt that a mutant would look more menacing. In any event, here's a quick render, composited in Photoshop.

So I've pretty much finished texturing my Zombie Hunter today. I did it pretty quickly, in 2 days, a new record for me! Hats off to Zbrush and polypaint :)

Zombie Hunter

Started my next character. She's going to be a zombie hunter, sort of Left 4 Dead esque. I may post my concept later, but it was really rough. She wont be pants-less in the final version.

So I'm pretty much done the hard-modelling of this character, there is still some sculpting I need to do. I have began texturing him, but there is not much to show yet so I just rendered out a sculpty version.

Here is another day's work on my soldier character. Started sculpting his shirt, and added some more trinkets. The "BLOOD" on his chest was just me playing with materials, it won't be part of the final product...(I don't think)

Soulja Update

Here is an update on my Soulja character. He isn't going to be an intense character as he may seem right now. The textures will bring out the humor of him once I get to that stage.

Since I haven't uploaded anything recently I thought I'd show you what I'm working on. I doubt that I will transfer him to low poly. I am working off a concept I made based off other people's work.
